  The most recent Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra update (One UI 7 / Android 15) switched the app drawer to a vertical, continuous scroll by default, removing the horizontal paginated (page-by-page) view many users preferred. While there is no direct setting to return to the old alphabetical paginated list, there is a workaround: switching the app drawer’s sort order to "Custom" from the menu. How to Restore Paginated App Drawer Open the App Drawer: Swipe up from the home screen to access all  Tap the three dots menu: It's at the top or bottom of the app drawer (search bar area) Select "Sort" and choose "Custom Order": This switches the app drawer to a horizontal, paged layout—apps are spread across pages rather than in a vertical list Optional: Use "Clean Up Pages" Button: After switching to custom order, you may see uneven app distribution.
